Discounted Spay/Neuter

 

Our Spay / Neuter Program 

 

  • We provide a FREE spay or neuter surgery to our established clients, who have completed their pet’s puppy or kitten      routine health protocol with us.

    • This means the surgical charge ($84.25- $189.50) is discounted 30%, 60%, or 100%

    • You are responsible for charges for bloodwork, medications, and any  additional services or testing provided. A personalized estimate is  always available upon request.

    • There is a limited time frame for this offer (usually one month, from  6-7 months of age). The dates will be provided to you by your  veterinarian at your last vaccination visit.

  • We provide this service to benefit our clients, patients, and the over-population problem. We strongly believe that early  spaying and neutering is in the best interest of your pet, as well as the general pet population. We would like to play our part in encouraging responsible pet ownership, as well as in decreasing the number of homeless pets!

  • We are now performing ovariectomies (OVE), instead of ovariohysterectomies (OVH) on our routine spays. Any female pet that has gone through a heat cycle or is over a year of age will still have the OVH procedure.  

    • This means we are removing only the ovaries (OVE). Previously, we would remove both the ovaries and the uterus (OVH).

    • We have chosen to make this change, as we feel it is the best procedure  for your pet. If you would like to discuss this further, please just  ask! We are more than happy to explain!

    • It is important to note this difference in your pet’s medical record, as  any future veterinarian that sees your pet will need to know.
